The recipe:  1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

1 tsp honey

1 cup distilled water

Drink up to 3 times a day! Salud!

Not just any kind of apple cider vinegar.  You want the organic, brownish colored vinegar with the tiny, cobweb “mother” floating in it.  This live vinegar contains powerful enzymes, potassium, phosphorus, natural organic sodium, magnesium, sulphur, iron, boron, copper, natural organic fluorine, silicon, trace minerals, essential amino acids, pectin and many other powerful nutrients.

Not just any kind of honey.  You want the raw, local honey that bees in your area have collected.  Raw honey also contains potassium, vitamins, and enzymes, and is a natural occurring antibiotic and antiseptic.  Ancient Egyptians listed over 500 honey remedies in their medical documents and Hippocrates prescribed honey to fight bacteria, block infections, combat inflammation, reduce pain, improve circulation, stimulate re-growth of tissues, faster healing and reduce scarring. 

The most potent ingredient in apple cider vinegar is potassium, the powerful element that changes seeds into plants and is necessary for the production of the substances that give rigidity to their stems and increase their resistance to disease.  People who eat mainly processed foods usually have a potassium deficiency because processed foods are refined of their vital nutrients and replaced with chemical synthetic versions that stimulate rather than nourish.

Potassium provides tone for the soft tissues (as calcium is good for the hard tissues) and softens the plaque in arteries.  Deficiency shows up in skin and muscle tone and signs include flabby, excess skin hanging over the eyes, bone and muscle aches and pains, especially in the lower back, body heaviness and tiredness, dizziness when straightening up after leaning over, morning dull headaches, dull, unmanageable hair, scalp that is itchy and dry, chilled hands and feet even in warm weather, loss of mental alertness, and itchy, sore eyes.

Potassium also suppresses rapidly multiplying bacterium and viruses. We have been led to believe that people become ill from infectious conditions, but rather it is we suffer from malnutrition that allows the germs to get a foothold in sickly bodies.  The best prevention of sickness is to eat vital, healthy foods (organic is best and safer and kinder to our planet).  Do not think that age is the cause of your devitalized cells.  Every 90 days a new bloodstream, the river of life, is built in the body by the foods you eat, the liquids you drink and the air you breathe.  From the bloodstream the body’s cells are made, nourished and maintained.  Every 11 months we have a new set of billions of miraculous body cells, and every 2 years we have an entirely new set of bones and hard tissues.  Our bodies are constantly cleansing and renewing its cells to keep the human temple healthy for life.


In 400 B.C. the “Father of Medicine” Hippocrates used vinegar to treat his patients because of its wonderful antiseptic and antibiotic properties which scientists have rediscovered today. In the Bible it is mentioned to heal infectious wounds and sores. It saved thousands of lives during the U. S. Civil War being used as a disinfectant on the injuries of the wounded.

Apple cider vinegar is a powerhouse of vitamins, mineral, antioxidants, and dietary fiber. It has little fat and sodium. It is high in potassium helping to re-establish a healthy digestive tract. It is a wonderful super food promoting growth of healthy micro flora in the body which is essential to heart health and proper immune function.
Apple cider vinegar is high in pectin which lowers blood pressure. It lowers the bad cholesterol and increases the good cholesterol helping the body to function correctly.

A recent study at Arizona State University on diabetes studied three different groups: those with type two diabetes, those who were pre-diabetes and a group of healthy adults. All the groups benefited. When given apple cider vinegar before meals those with type two blood sugar levels dropped nineteen percent. Participants with a pre-diabetic condition blood sugar levels dropped thirty four percent. In this study participants were also given apple cider vinegar before bedtime and blood sugar levels dropped doubling those given a placebo. For the healthy adults apple cider vinegar given during meals dropped their blood sugar levels by twenty percent. Apple cider vinegar improves glucose
metabolism. The researchers concluded with a statement by the American Diabetes Association that emphasized the importance of reducing blood sugar levels after meals to reduce complications of diabetes.

Another amazing benefit of apple cider vinegar has been for over all digestion this has lead to significant evidence in the benefit in symptoms of gout helping the body to break down the uric acid and elevating symptoms. This is accomplished by the malic acid which breaks down the uric acid and eliminates it from the body. Some have had had immediate results and others in just a few days.

The antiseptic properties of apple cider vinegar deter the unwanted bacteria and yeast in the body. It increases stomach acidity and this improves digestion and nutritional assimilation. Apple cider vinegar maintains the acid alkaline balance of the body. Many sufferers of acid reflux have been relieved. Digestion and assimilation of healthy foods is critical for proper functioning of the body, especially with gout and other digestive issues. Apple cider vinegar helps the body do what is was designed to do.
In addition to all these benefits apple cider vinegar has been shown to aid in the following: weight loss (gradual but tends to be permanent), arthritis, warts and plantar warts (even long standing).
When shopping for apple cider vinegar look for the following:

• Raw
• Unfiltered
• Unpasteurized
• Organic



ACV-Flaxseed Bowel Lubricant

Soak 4 tbsp flaxseeds for 15 minutes or overnight in 2 cups distilled water, and store in refrigerator.  Daily, stir 2 tbsp mixture, plus 1 tsp ACV in glass of distilled water and drink upon arising and an hour before bed. 


When the body becomes overwhelmed by the amount of toxins in the body and is unable to eliminate them all, the toxins remain and lodge in the joints and organs.  Acetic acid in organic, raw ACV with the powerful mother can decompose these toxic wastes.  Drink ACV daily, and in addition, add 1 tsp ACV to 6 oz of salt-free tomato or fresh vegetable juice (carrot and greens) and drink between meals, daily.


Headaches are our body’s way to tell us that something is wrong!  Do not shut it up with a pain killer. Help it to rebalance.  Research has shown that when the body triggers a headache, the urine is alkaline rather than the normal acid.  The fast working malic acid of ACV can help relieve headaches by aiding the kidneys to return urine to normal (average 6.4 pH) acidity.

Vaporized ACV

Put 1 tbsp ACV and 2 cups pure water in a vaporize or small pan, bring to a boil, and as the vapor begins to rise, turn heat off, put towel over head and lean over steam, taking 5 deep slow breaths of ACV steam vapors.

Also, try hot & cold vinegar compresses to forehead and entire neck area, then do some shoulder/neck rolls and massage head and shoulders.  For pain, use Bromelain 500 mg, a mixture of sulfur-containing protein-digesting enzymes that act as an anti-inflammatory.


This is usually aggravated by weak saliva juices, causing gas, heartburn, burping and stomach bloating.  Before mealtime, sip 1/3 tsp ACV. Hold in mouth for a minute before swallowing.  This promotes enzymes and saliva which helps the digestion that starts in the mouth, causing stomach digestive fluids to flow faster, resulting in improved digestion and better heath.

Massage Oil

3 parts Organic ACV

1 part Organic Castor Oil

For healthy skin

½ cup of ACV to a small basin of warm distilled water and massage all over the body: face, neck, chest, arms, shoulders, back, abdomen, legs and feet.  This leaves skin soft and pH balanced (the skin is often called your third kidney and is constantly throwing off toxic poisons through its billions of pores.  After thoroughly wetting the skin, rub and massage until the skin is dry.  Don’t wash off!  Do twice weekly.

This is better than using soap, which is alkaline.  By keeping the skin in an acid reaction, it will help you have healthier skin.  Also try gently skin brushing with a non-synthetic brush such as a loofah pad to remove old skin cells and toxic wastes.  Move in a circular motion always toward the heart.

Sore Throat & Laryngitis

ACV gargle mixture (1 tsp to ½ glass of water, gargle 3 mouthfuls of mixture each hour, then spit it out); as the throat feels better, gargle every 3 hours.  Do not swallow because the ACV draws out the germs and toxins and you don’t want to push them down to your stomach.   You can also use an ACV wet compress: place a thin ACV soaked cloth over the throat area, cover with Saran Wrap, the use a flat hot water bag or moist, hot wrung-out towel to heat the area, allowing ACV to absorb through the skin.  This compress is also great for cleansing and healing all lung congestions.

This gargle mixture is good to use twice weekly even in good health to help remove any body toxins eliminated through the throat tissues.


Enzyme deficiencies cause the underweight person to be unable to use or burn up food. If underweight, drink 2 tsps ACV and 2 tsp honey in a glass of distilled water.  Add 2 drops of liquid iodine made from seaweed to help normalize body weight. If overweight, mix 1 tsp of acv, honey and 8 oz water.

What else can it do?

Soothe a bee or jelly fish sting and relieve a sun burn. Apply full strength to the skin!

Helps with dandruff and frizzy hair: apply a solution of 1/2 cup vinegar and 2 cups warm water to hair after shampooing, then do a final rinse. If your hair is oily, rinse with a 50-50 mixture of vinegar and water to get rid of the oil. For healthy hair drink a mixture of 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of molasses. To help cover grays stir 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar into a gallon of warm water and use as a final rinse after shampooing.

For sinus, chest colds or headaches, add a ¼ cup of vinegar to your vaporizer. For sore throats, gargle a mixture of half vinegar and half warm water and repeat every hour as needed.

Use as a deodorant by wiping your arm pits with a cloth moistened in vinegar. For stinky feet, soak your feet every night for 10 minutes or more in a solution of 1 ounce of vinegar in a gallon of water.

Apply vinegar to a cold sore to help it heal quickly and relived the pain and discomfort.

A glass of warm water with 1 tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar will relieve gas..

Wrap your legs with a cloth dampened with apple cider vinegar for vericose veins, and drink a glass of warm water with 1 to 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar after each treatment.

Drinking a small amount of apple cider daily can help avoid bladder infections.

Fade age or liver spots by wiping every day with a mixture of 2 teaspoons vinegar and 1 teaspoon onion juice.

Get rid of hiccups by sipping slowly a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon of vinegar. You can sip from the far side of the glass to get rid of them faster. For really stubborn hiccups try sucking on a lump of sugar soaked in vinegar.

A glass of water with 1 or 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and honey before going to bed can help with chronic fatigue and nighttime leg cramps.

To help prevent and eliminate facial blemishes steam clean your face by draping a towel over your head and placing your face over a steaming pan of ¼ cup vinegar and 1 qt of water. Once your pores are open, wipe apple cider vinegar over your face with a cotton ball to clean and loosen dirt and oil then splash your face with a half and half mix of cold water and cool vinegar to close your pores.

Add 2 or 3 cups of apple cider vinegar to your bath water and soak to relieve tired achy muscles and this will help eliminate yeast infections. Apple cider vinegar will help balance your body's pH levels.

Relieve chapped hands by applying apple cider vinegar several times a day.

For corns, soak a slice of onion in vinegar and bind it to the corn overnight or just apply a drop of vinegar to the corn every night.

Rinse your teeth with vinegar before brushing to remove tartar and prevent cavities.

Apply vinegar directly on the infected ringworm area up to 6 times a day.

For poison ivy, daubing equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water to the rash and let it dry.
